She ranks third among the only seven 'Level 5 Esper' individuals in Academy City, and she is an 'Electromaster' who can freely manipulate electricity. By applying electromagnetic force, she can fire a coin at three times the speed of sound, earning her the nickname 'Railgun'. Her longtime relationship with Kamijou, whom she met through a certain incident, is a love-hate bond where she snaps at him every single time they meet. While she has a straightforward, honest personality and frequently exhibits behavior unbecoming of a refined lady, she also reveals a girlish side with a weakness for fancy goods and cute clothes.
